Hi, this is my very first blog. I am a wife and mother to two wonderful daughters, and as a bonus I have a stepdaughter and stepson, who now has two beautiful boys with his partner. I work full time, and like to spend my spare time working on one craft or another. I love to scrapbook, although have found myself dabbling with card making of late.
I also enjoy delving into my family history, which was originally inspired when I began scrap-booking.
I have been busy exploring all of the wonderful pages and blogs that other creative people have been kind enough to share. There are so many clever people and I am thankful they are willing to share their talent with the world.
Today I am attaching a Birthday Card that I made for a friend who is a keen motorcycle rider.
The card was made using my Cricut.
I used the Rock Princess Cartridge for the girl rider, however I substituted the motorcycle for a different one on the Father's Day Cartridge.
The card-stock is all from my stash, mostly Creative Memories. The green ribbon is from Stampin' Up.
I used my Cricut with a gel pen to create the sentiment on the tag, together with some Creative Memories gold stickers for the '50'
The paper-piecing image on the inside of the card is also from Rock Princess Cartridge and is there to hold a gift voucher.
The inside sentiments are both stamps from the Fiskars "Make a Wish Quotes" stamp set.
The envelope is handmade with a Spellbinders die cut label.
I hope you enjoy!
Cheers, Donna
